CHRISTINA MUNSEY
About
The North Carolina native, Christina Munsey, is a singer-songwriter known for her captivating musical storytelling abilities, heartfelt lyrics, and velvety, soulful vocals that are hard not to love. Scoring her song, Give Me a Minute, into one of the most popular programs in America—the original Netflix series, Love is Blind—was a tremendous achievement for her first sync placement. Acquiring over 30,000,000 broadcast plays, ranking #28 on Shazam’s Top 100 Pop Chart, and charting on the Top 200 Canada Chart as well as over 35 other charts internationally, there’s no stopping her.
She has also landed sync deals with Sony BMG Production Music and Warner Chappell Production Music, with her songs featured on SiriusXM’s The Village: Folk Forest and several other radio stations. In 2024, Munsey was recognized as a Finalist in American Songwriter's prestigious Song Contest, further solidifying her place as a standout talent in the industry.
In an era where teams of writers craft a single song, Munsey consistently breaks the mold with her effortless song-crafting capabilities, matched with her rich, honeyed vocals that are sought after by a broad spectrum of producers and labels internationally. The infusion of her polished songwriting, sultry voice, and old soul has created something hard not to gravitate toward.
Growing up in a non-musical family, people often wonder where Munsey adopted such a deep love for music. One of the more promising explanations seems to be her father’s attachment to music. He would jam out to Kate Bush on a cassette while writing code in college, along with inviting friends on his block to record parties, where having a turntable at his age was unheard of. Inevitably, hearing Simon & Garfunkel, Supertramp, and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young around the house instilled her to have an old soul.
